The owner gave us samples of everything to help us decide what to order, this was nice since everything on the cafeteria line looked great! The prices were a bit high, but I don't think they were overpriced: the food was great, that's what really matters to me. ”

I will say it's a bit difficult to tell when they're open since their open sign is almost always illuminated and from the outside it almost always looks like the lights are off inside and sometimes I've gone to get some during their posted hours and they have indeed been closed. But despite all that, I'm a big fan. The proprietor is so friendly and sweet, and the food is so flavorful and fresh at such a reasonable value. “ This South Lincoln favorite scores high in my book. Located in a strip mall next to Eileen's cookies, this small restaurant is serving up some delicious home cooked eats. Most of their dishes here are pre-cooked and prepared, and they have them available for you to look at and choose cafeteria style. As you browse and peruse the options, they are happy to let you sample the food, as well as explain the flavors and preparations. I had a great time trying their dishes and ended up taking 6 different entrees home as a result (you can do half orders or full orders) for 6 entrees plus rice, it was around $55. Each plate of food is around ~$14. Friendly, family oriented place. Best for takeout as there's not a whole lot of ambience in there, but also there are tables for eating in. They are also at the Sunday farmer's market near Union College on the weekends- where you can snag rice with the stew type entrees or gyro meat on the grill. Highly recommend, it's like eating a warm, home cooked meal. ”
